If you liked Abruzzo, please try our other three, great locations!
Ristorante Abruzzo Closed for Business
Named after the mountainous region 100 miles due east of Rome and birthplace of owner, Guido Oliverii. Abruzzese cuisine is the undiscovered treasure of Italy known as Cucina Rustica. We believe that you will enjoy the same, great food at our other restaurants.
Abruzzo originally began as Guido's in the Deerbrook Mall more than 25 years ago. After 8 years in business it was moved closer to the main entrance to the mall and renamed Ristorante Abruzzo after founder, Guido Oliverii's birthplace in the mountain region on the east coast of Italy. Abruzzo was located at a great facility at 483 Lake Cook Road, just south of the Secretary of State facilities in the Deerfield Park Plaza.
Ristorante Abruzzo was one of four Italian Restaurants owned and managed by the Oliverii family. This is not a chain of "same restaurant, different location". Each Oliverii restaurant has a different name, menu and distinctive atmosphere.
We hope to see you soon at one of our other locations; Ciao!
